The Story

IAV has been a main sponsor and mentor at Formula Student Germany for 15 years. With the film "The Overdogs", we celebrate the brilliant minds behind Formula Student Germany 2023 and at the same time start the chapter FSG 2024! Why we call them "The Overdogs"? Because these young students are the secret heroes who often achieve great things in secret, yet rarely receive the recognition they deserve. You are true enthusiasts who tackle new technologies and drive innovation – for us, you are more than underdogs: you are overdogs, and therefore right up there on pole position. We take you behind the scenes of the wob-racing team at the Hockenheimring competition. Sophia, who oversaw chassis and aerodynamics during FSG 2023, and Yannick, the administrative project manager, share their experiences and what Formula Student Germany means to them. Passion, teamwork, and technical know-how make them true champions for us.
